We collect information to provide better digital banking experiences to all our customer. When you create banking account, you provide us with personal information that include your name, date of birth, email address, ID number or phone number. Even you are not sign in to BIC mobile, you might choose to provide us with information – like an email address to receive update about our banking services.
BIC may collect your device token upon login to BIC mobile app or after successful authentication into BIC mobile. This information will include device model, version, manufacturer and firmware version. For the purpose of ensuring legitimate login from our customer devices.
Furthermore, local storage permission may also need to store you bank statement once finished downloading from the BIC Mobile App.
BIC Mobile allows app to access your location while using mobile app to navigate nearby ATMs location or branches. BIC bank may use various technologies to determine location, including IP address.
BIC Mobile required permission to read customer contact information for better user experience on mobile top up functions. This contact information is for display purposed only and the bank not proceed to storing user contact information at bank side.
Certain features activation may also require additional app permission from the users to enabled. Example when user prefer to user biometric authentication such as Face-ID or Finger Print for the mobile app login or transaction authentication instead of PIN / Password. Additional features, like camera also needed to allowed in order to proceed QR code scan for payment, take picture or change their profile picture.
